re: CAA #10 (Crossfires Across America #10) Northern California - July 7 - 12, 2019
A year or so ago my wife and I went from Phoenix to San Bernardino and drove the coast to Astoria OR and back again. We took the SRT coupe and went in September. We took our time, it was a beautiful drive. I would be a bit concerned about traffic during vacation season. I’m told traffic along the coast can be quite heavy and lots of RVs.

Wedge,
I was about to ask you where you were located until I saw it on your response. Let me talk with the others in the planning group and see what they think. Honestly, the more people we get involved helping the smaller the workload for all of us. Have you gone to any of the other CAA's? There are a handful of us here in Northern California that have been wanting to do this for a while, so I am glad you reached out to offer to help. We also have a couple of people in the Northwest Crossfire Group, who did CAA 7, that have offered advice/help as well.

Hey Eric,
I was at CAA #1 in St. Louis. My son went with me and he now has his own NA. And there's Bob in Mendocino but I haven't spoken with him in awhile. So yeah, if #10 is gonna be in my backyard then I want to volunteer to help. If it's not needed, then that's fine. I'll just be a participant :-)

Steve,
Everyone is happy to have your help for this. It is nice to know that there are a few more owners in Northern California than we were aware of. I am hoping that we can get some of the other Northern California owners out that normally don't do the big get togethers. I have a couple of friends who will go to car shows but not the CAA's, so we are going to try and get them there next summer.

We are still in the process of setting everything up. We are going to try and get together in person next month in Fortuna to try out some potential drives. I will let you know more when I know more.

Looks like me and the hubby will be flying into San Jose and joining you all. Gonna arrive on Sunday, and drive with the group Monday and Tuesday and head on down the PCH after. It's been on my bucket list to drive the PCH. We will just rent a convertable once we arrive, and meet at the hotel. We are gonna make a 10 day trip out of it, driving south after.
