REQUIREMENT FOR PARKING TOGETHER ON SATURDAY
We all need to arrive and enter Memorial Park together by 8am to be parked together within the 25 acre park grounds where we have shade throughout the day.
For us to accomplish this I ask that everyone attending regardless of where you are staying or where you live to meet at the host hotel by 7am on Saturday morning.:

We generally gather at the rear of the hotel and depart no later than 7:30 after a brief meeting outside.
We travel together about 9 miles to Memorial Park where we must arrive by 8am and enter as a group to be parked as a group
If you choose to arrive at any other time you will be parked wherever the parking attendants show you...not likely with the group and probably in a baseball field in back of Memorial Park with absolutely no shade and little visibility !!

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Judi Hall (msgump) and John Balint (balijo38)
At 2pm on Saturday in Memorial Park near our cars we will have a moment of remembrance for 2 of our Crossfire owners who have passed away since this time last year.
They were both a part of this group who joined us each year for the past several years at Woodward,
We will have photos and the obituaries displayed and ask all who have a story or memory to share to speak up and share their memories with the rest of us.
Some of the family members will likely be present for this remembrance service.
This is how we honor and remember our lost fellow Crossfire Owners and I hope that everyone can make a bit of time to come together for this after lunch etc.

 

Finished up the exterior detailing of our 2007 Coupe for next week's WDC XFire Event. All the interior window surfaces are clean and the engine bay was degreased & detailed. Only need to finish up the interior detailing next week; then load & go.

A message from the Auburn Hills Marriott ....

We are looking forward to hosting your group this week! Our staff would like to work to reserve some parking spots for your group.

Also, we will have a welcome letter for your group, but please let your group know that we would prefer them not use our room towels to clean the cars with. We will have some towels at the front desk that they can use. They are complimentary and will just need to ask the front desk.

We are also happy to provide anyone with complimentary ice from our ice machine in the kitchen. They can stop by the front desk to have us fill up the coolers before you head down to Woodward Ave.

We will be leaving Cincinnati 7:30 / 8:00. Maybe we will catch each other along the way.

You're probably an hour+ ahead of us. And you're planning to leave maybe an hour before we do. So we'll see you at host hotel.

So I just realized I never told you guys that I’m officially in, whoops, but I’ve paid for the parking pass things and will be at the Marriott at 7:30 tomorrow if that’s still ok.

 

No problem and welcome but be sure you're at the Marriott by 7:00 AM sharp
We will be leaving the Marriott no later than 7:30 AM but you must be there before we pull out
Pull in and go to the back of the hotel opposite from the front entrance in the south parking lot immediately when you arrive
We all must be together and arrive together when we enter Memorial park in order to pull in and be parked together
