yesterday afternoon me and my son returned from the park at 13th and woodward.
never in my life i was so happy!
friday afternoon we rode woodward from the river-about 1 hour-and the show was already on. so many fancy cars, people everywhere just enjoying the parade, sitting on their chairs, with their tents, all day long, under the sun. the number of cars is overwhelming. so many that we never saw before, or for a long time...
and then, the park: about 11 or 12 cfs, and the friendiest crowd even meet. then dinner with them, and next morning meeting for the instructions and then the caravan. i wish i could be 1 of the many folks watching us. i dont think there was anything so impressive. so many so beautiful cars of the same kind, 1 after another.
and then all together at the park again, meeting all of them and talking non-stop about whatever: the car of course, but also about our experiences, so much to talk. all so friendly. never met a crowd so great.
Gary did a terrific job organizing the event. everything ran smooth as silk. thank you sir.
then the parade on woodward again on our way home.
memories that will enlighten our lives forever.

Yeah thank you Gary for the wonderful event you put together this year, and thank all of you for accepting me in to this wonderful community of people I’m super happy that you guys are so cool
We are at our halfway home stop. Our 1st time attending WDC XFire event & it was memorable. Met old friends & made new friends. Took lots of pictures. Will post some & link to album later. Thanks to Gary et al for the great weekend.
Yes, Thank you to Gary and I enjoyed speaking with you and hearing your experiences with Eric Stoddard (Crossfire Designer). My wife and myself were very excited meeting the actual designer of the car and having him sign our 2005 vehicle brochure and vehicle glove compartment. What a great weekend. See pictures attached.
We finally arrived home around noon today - Lexington, KY to SC home in 5.5 hours. We really enjoyed ourselves throughout the weekend. Even got Eric Stoddard's signature on the picture I put together.
Thanks to all who came to this event this year and the kind feedback that has been posted here as well We had a total of 33 Crossfires in attendance this year !!
Eric Stoddard came by and autographed many cars and owners manuals etc.
My photos on Facebook hopefully can be seen by clicking this link here >>>Woodward Dream Cruise - 2019 Some others attached below........
brigadoon (have you seen the movie?) https://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&s...ZqkCpgQ4dUDCAc
in brigadoon, an idilic place is frozen in time and awakes every century for 1 day.
but here we also have a place that seems from fantasy-with the difference that it wakes up every year-and for 2 days!
so, we have our brigadoon too, and way better, once every year. arent we lucky?
so, thanks to the wizzard that makes it possible. and looking forward for next year to see ya guys!

with covid appearing on 2020, and who knows how it will evolve, wonder when we will meet again.
but seems that they are working on sort of passport for those who take the vaccine and are allowed to be anywhere, as will not get neither give the virus anymore.
when/if this happens , then we will meet again for another reunion.
looking forward to meet you guys.

Woodward 2021 will be dependent on Memorial Park being open again as well as the city allowing the vendors to return
I hope there is some info available by mid summer 2021 so we can plan the event if indeed it can be held
I will keep in contact with the city and our parking contact throughout the summer and I will create a 2021 thread if the event is going to happen
