For anyone wanting to get their TPMS warning light cleared due to new Wheel Sensors, let me know & I'll bring the TPMS scan tool & DRB3 Emulator software to perform the Re-Learn process on your Crossfire.

 

Sorry to hear that you will miss this event due to work. I know how that goes - happened to us for the Eureka Springs event back in 2017. I was in China on an assignment and couldn't get back in time.

Just wanted to let you know we appreciate all you've done in organizing this event thus far for us attendees.

This meet needs a leader -I am sorry but at this point, I do not believe I can make this event. I am good to go for Eureka Springs and the Fall Dragon, 2020. But the Snake looks dubious at best, I have not booked a flight (tho I think I have a room reserved, now that I think about it, I KNOW I do).

 

I had all intentions to attend this event but things have changed and I will not make this one now.
I'm going on a vacation to MEXICO with my wife and some family early April instead.
I will still be attending Eureka Springs and the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Fall Tail of the Dragon

Made my reservations last night for Thursday thru Sunday. I will probably be by myself on this trip.

 

Hope to go. A lot depends on my parents health. I will look into making hotel reservations tomorrow.

 

Wish we could join you all , but that not going happen , Susan had little spill last Oct. broke her wrist in 3 places , just got back to work few weeks ago , I'm retiring here in few weeks after 42 years of what brown can do for you ( UPS) need to do a lot catching up with old friends and family this summer not even sure if the Fall Dragon is in the picture, but it down road ways , we will see , our little Crossfire needs to have some work done to it also to get back our standards , Have great time ! ThiMking about going. That by coincidence is my birthday weekend.... I will make definite either way this weekend.

 

With all that is happening ............... count me out

 

Now wondering if you guys will have place to stay , let alone food to eat , here in Kentucky ever thing closed and more closing after 5 today Motels ,Hotels , which tells me moving state to state may be a big problem in the near future , hope not but this stuff is progressing at very fast rate ,

 

This a genuine concern for the next 3-4 months; maybe longer. Wife & I are scheduled to attend a VW New Beetle weekend event in Bryson City, NC just 2 weeks after The Snake GTG (get together). Doubt we attend that car club gathering. And ii is feasible that other upcoming events (i.e., Eureka Springs, Woodward Dream Cruise, Fall Dragon GTG, etc.) could be in jeopardy of cancellation if this corona-virus isn't under control by those dates. From what I've seen of the past 3-4 weeks, I'm doubting this illness will be under control to the point that these limitations on social gatherings are significantly lifted. But we'll wait & watch. I'm hopeful as these events are a joy to attend.

 

Wife & I decided that this weekend event is something we could pass on with all that is going on around us right now. So this morning, I cancelled our reservation at the Holiday Inn in Johnson City, TN. Maybe next year.

We're close enough that, if things settle down & get under control, we'll take a couple of days and go up to scout the Snake & other routes in the area.

 

It is POSSIBLE that this event could happen. From my never-ending reading and talking to a certain chemist and medical professional - it really sounds like our national 'lockdown' will have to last four to eight weeks.

So, the snake is POSSIBLE, but not certain. In any event, IF things take a turn for the better in a month, I am SURE we can get the hotel to take our reservations again!

No worries all - it may happen anyway, but at this point we do not know.


WE DO know that I will not be there, but that's because of my new job. I am working every day and am not "isolating" and probably won't 'isolate' at all, I am considered "essential services" because I am once again a "first responder service provider" to 911s, Fire and Police departments. I cannot stay home and must work.

THe up side: Probably no big economic impact directly on me.
