We have secured Crossfire Group Parking again this year at the corner of 13 mile rd. and Woodward ave.
The spot is in the beautiful shaded 25 acres of Memorial Park where we will be among 800 other show cars !!
Walk around the park and see all the other show cars and if that isn't enough you can go walk along Woodward ave in both directions and see several thousand more show cars

Friday you can go in to Memorial Park at anytime without pulling in with the other Crossfires
On Saturday we MUST ENTER TOGETHER to be parked together
We must arrive as a group no later than 8am on Saturday to be parked together
We generally gather at Sonesta (our host hotel) Saturday morning and leave by 7:30 as a group

I have secured a block of 15 rooms again at our usual host hotel location
This location was the Marriott hotel and was purchased by the "Sonesta Hotel" chain
15 rooms are available for Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th (8 King and 7 Queen)

Guest room, 1 King only $95 + tax
Guest room, 2 Queens only $105 + tax
This is a reduced "group rate" for a weekend with high volume reservations throughout the area

Thanks Gary, just sent the payment to Royal Oak. But this year we have chosen to stay at a hotel just down the road 2 minutes away beside the McDonalds. We went and checked it out last year. It's the Quality Inn at 1461 N Opdyke Road. They offer a hot breakfast that is included in the stay at $67.00 a night. We went in and it is modern and has great ratings. Beautiful pool also.

FYI, The Beach Boys will be performing at MeadowBrook Amphitheater the day after the Dream Cruise if any forum members are interested.
Tickets are around $30 and the venue is 10 minutes from the Sonesta hotel.

A 20th Anniversary for the beginning of the production of the Crossfire will be celebrated on Saturday Night at our hotel

Art Anderson and Scott Wilkins will be in a conference room I reserved to do a presentation for all of us.
This is a fantastic presentation about the Crossfire from its production years with an on screen power point presentation
Art Anderson was nominally the chief engineer and boss for Crossfire during production.
Scott Wilkins was the top program manager and took care of more details.
These 2 men have done 2 presentations for us at Woodward in the past.
We are honored to have Art and Scott come do this for us again.
They can answer many questions you may have as well.
The presentation will begin in the hotel conference room after dinner on Saturday night.
Time will be announced but likely to begin at 8PM.

They followed this forum to see what the people here were saying during the release of the Crossfire.
They understand that we are people who LOVE OUR CROSSFIRES still 20 years after production began !!!
