Description:
2005 Chrysler Crossfire V8 Great looks meet thrilling power with this 5.0L V8 swapped roadster in very good condition. Engine completely serviced with new seals, gaskets and tune up items. Transmission is also a V8 unit with upgraded TCU tune. New BAS convertible top, with serviced hydraulics, works properly! Continental tires, fresh alignment, fresh fluid change all around, power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise and cold A/C. Everything works! 68k miles (similar mileage on V8 engine, too!). Florida title in hand. Car sounds great/runs great! This Crossfire is ready right now for top down enjoyment!

Jim,
I am most likely going to sell my M113K SSB coupe here in the next few months. I am about ready to begin work on my next Crossfire project, and as such, my time with the last project is about to the end.

My V8 supercharged newest car is almost ready within a week or 2, it should have about 600 hp ,,but my wife broke her ankle
a few weeks ago, no weight bearing for 8 weeks so no track for the next 8 weeks that gives me time to test everything on the car. jim

The yellow roadster belong to my son, @QuadPrism . He did a fantastic job, paying attention to the details on this one. It drives like it is a factory built car. Suspension and steering feel tight, and the engine is definitely more powerful than anything Crossfire from the factory, but not so powerful as to be difficult or persnickety to drive. It never feels like it wants to totally get away from you (unlike the M113K car), and it always feels smooth as butter. The yellow roadster just came out great. It should have been an option to buy a CF 500 from the factory!
@QuadPrism , @nemiro
Do you guys have emissions testing there? Any idea if that would sneak past the tailpipe sniffers and OBDII plug in checks? An unfortunate fact of life here on the front range of Colorado.

Very cool car!
I'm always thinking about a V-8, my only thing is I would want a manual transmission.
Best of luck to you! That should sell pretty quick!

I have to say that this is the first 5.0L V8 swapped CF I have driven, and it is wonderfully balanced. The car drives so nicely, you would think it came from the factory as it is. A different driving experience than an SRT-6, with much more linear power, and the sound is much more befitting a car like this than the V6. This particular V8-swap is not some Frankenstein mess, but instead is a well-sorted, easy to maintain setup, with exactly the same maintenance intervals and procedures as a Crossfire Limited. The yellow roadster is turnkey reliable, and William has been driving it almost daily for the last several months.
This is such a beautiful car I am tempted to forget how much fun my light weight manual transmission MINI JCW convertible is.
I have shared its information with others in hopes of getting it into the family.

Nice looking car! If any member is thinking about this car or doing a swap you should buy this car. I can tell you it is a hell of a good price and no I don't know the owner.
