Default 05 roadsters

Still looking for a good deal on a '05 convertible. If any forum members see a good deal on a convertible in the newspaper please list it here. I am from Florida.

THANKS

The deals are all over the place, you just need to look. Get red, it's a hot color!

The deals are out there...i am trying to deal at this very time on a roadster and am selling my Crossfire on ebay if anyone is interested (hint hint)...what I have been finding is they are usually discounting them anywhere between 9k and 10k...am driving a RED one tomorrow at a dealer in Toledo...I believe the car lists for around $42,080.00 and thinking of offering him $30,700.00 for it...just to give you and idea of what deals we have here in Ohio.

What do you consider a deal on a new '05 limited roadster?

And what do you consider a deal on a used '05 roadster with under 10,000 miles?
I have been looking and I don't consider $30,000 a deal on a new roadster. Especially when you can buy a supercharged crossfire that is over $42,000 for $29,000 in the paper in florida.

Most of the '05 Limited's I have seen have been going for $29,500.00 to $31,000.00. I would purchase based on what you like and what YOU consider a good deal. I have found someone someplace makes a better deal but hey a good deal for you is a good deal for you. If you find a XF you really like and like the price go for it and have a great ride and be happy.

Have you read the thread "Seems like a good deal @ $24,900" https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=10163

I ranted, post #9 about how we got the deal we did. You might find it helpful.

You can probably get a better deal on a new Crossfire than you can on a used one. Just keep looking until you find the car and the deal you want.

I got my '05 roadster in the fall for $27,000 out the door w/ 1,000 miles on it. I'm sure you can find one in the low 20's now a days. Just be patient, you'll find what your looking for.

Greetings to all,

Just picked up an '05 Red Roadster Limited for $28K from a dealer near Houston. Not the only one we got that day (wife got a good deal on an '06 Commander limited). Nice little car. Everything I thought it would be. Fun to drive and comments galore. Gas mileage has been better than expected/forecast (22/30 mpg) so far.

The forum is really good! You have done an excellent job of compiling and distributing information.

Thanks again for a good source of information.

Brett

Hi...new to this site. Funny, I tried to find a site like this some months ago, and nothing turned up in search engine. Anyway...I was smitten from the first look at a 2004 Coupe. I remember mentioning to my wife how great the Crossfire would look topless, and mentioned that I would buy a convertible. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my first Roadster...it was better than I'd imagined.

To make a long story short, I finally convinced myself to buy a Roadster Limited in February. I spent almost 2 months searching the internet, checking further and further from home, until I found two potential buys about 100 miles from home, one Red, the other Sapphire Silver Blue. After a lot of soul searching I went out pre-approved to buy either one...and bought the Blue one. I haven't regretted a minute of it. The car I bought was a Chrysler Executive's loaner car for 6 months, 1 April 2005 to 1 October 2005. He put 2,450 miles on it...I've put almost 1,500 since my mid-February purchase. As with many of you, I drive with the top down every chance I get...and with the very effective heater and heated seats in the Limited, I go topless even when the weather would indicate otherwise.

The only thing I'm missing is the Limited Luggage set, and I keep hoping to find a set in the market. Despite the fact that I'm the first commercial owner, I haven't had any success getting my dealer to order it for me. At least he sent me a number for the place to buy myself. I'll check into it and post to this forum.

Regards and great driving,

Mark

Hi to everyone !

I am located in Montreal / Canada, and I am in search of a used blue roadster, automatic, with the two tone interior (white & grey).

Up to now, I have follow ebay very carefully, but no luck. there is also auto trader.com but again no luck. My question is this, could you give me any suggestions on which publication I should look in to find theme ?

Thank you,
George

Cool Re: 05 roadsters

Good Luck...Aero Blue is a popular color. I am not sure of the exchange rate, but check some of the dealers here in the States...there are deals to be had.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I am looking only in United States, I forgot to mentioned it.

But is there other publication, or website than ebay, and auto trader.com
to be able to find theme ?

George

I bought my new limited roadster for 27K last December in Michigan. Sorry to the guy looking for luggage, sold it on a forum for $200.00. Love my roadster.
