I was at the Chrysler Dealership the other day getting the cooling fan motor replaced. There was a brand new silver srt6 that had just been dropped of with a sticker price of $52,400.00. I asked salesman is that a 2006, he told me Chrysler is not making anymore Crossfire's. If that is true that will make the car worth even more.

 

Except for a few things: there are dealers selling new SRT6 coupes for less than $30k, no one is getting close to sticker; DC has sold Crossfires to Enterprise Rental Car; and DC is pushing thousands out to employees on short leases right now. I don't think the resale will be very good, if you want to get out of your CF I would do it sooner rather than later. We plan to drive and enjoy ours for a long time, probably six years, then pass it on to one of the family. It is a great car that was not introduced and marketed properly.

 

I am also in it for the long haul. The SRT6 was priced slightly above $49,000.00 in the beginning. There are so many 2005's sitting on the docks, that I doubt if we will see any 2006's as yet. But they can be had for a lot cheaper than sticker, just look around.

 

Just for kicks, i typed in 2006 crossfire roadster and i got to the canada chrysler website.

They have 2006s advertised on the site. Anyone else see this?

 

DC officially announced that there will be no 2006 X-fires due to the backlog of '05's. They are selling '06's in Europe, and there will be '07 and '08 X-Fires for the US market.
