Default Engine cover removal

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic engine cover. I want to take mine off and have it painted black with gold metallic.

DragonFire, just lift up on it - from back to front...it just clicks into place on rubber studs. Reverse to install. BTW pull the air inlet tubes off first...not really necessary but makes it easier to deal with.

Thank you so much. I initially tried that, but there was so much resistance, that I thought I would break it. Nice to know it comes off easily.
