That's weird? I thought it did have a $29k BUY IT NOW price on it? Maybe he wanted to sell it quick and would take $29k but had a reserve of $30k something if it went the distance. Odd strategy but I've seen weirder.

What was the starting price? I expect it was below the "buy it now" price.

On eBay, once the first bid is placed, the "buy it now" goes away.
