Default Crossfirecommunity.net

I was a member of this other forum...much smaller, but a nice place to visit, and for about a month now, I have not been able to get into the site. Was wondering if anyone knows if it's been taken down? If so, I'll remove it from my "bookmarks". I had touched base with some local xfire owners, and it was nice to have them to compare notes with, but I've been thinking it's "me" and not the site...

Just curious...thanks!

Stacy, It's still working fine...I haven't had any problem. Maybe you have a firewall or something blocking it.

Hmm...that's weird. I'll have to reload the website. I know I don't have a firewall, but it just doesn't give me any options for getting into the site. All I get is the logo on top and no posts...even though it says I'm logged in.

I'll try again...thanks for the information!!!

I tried again...logged in...it says I'm "on line". I get no links to the forums, no discussions...etc. All I get is the announcement page that was posted in July. I can't click on anything to get me to the discussion boards and I'm my name is showing. It might be my browser...so, I'll try another. Very odd...I don't think I was banned?? Ha...If I was, well, I swear I didn't do it! I have posted only a few times...and I was very "nice".

Try "starting from scratch"... that is - actually type the www... whole address. Don't let your cookies take you there. (I hope that makes sense).

Got in with my IE browser...very odd...they think I don't "like" them over there...now I feel bad. There was a hook up planned and I missed it...It was in July, and I had no way to access the address. I thought it would have been fun to get together...maybe next time!

If you are using a netscape/firefox browser there is a setting that you have to choose to allow you to see the post again. This happened to me also. I will try to remember what I did and how I did it.
I went back to my old post on the other forum and it states that I found a box somewhere on the page that you have to check off that says view all. Hope this helps.

On the line that says "CCN forums" do you have a plus sign or a minus? It should be a - on the right hand side.

I have had no issues with my IE browser. So, now I'm just going to log on using that instead of Safari. Thanks for the help, however! I appreciate it!
