Default Lucy, Lucy, Lucy

Hello;

I have had my Blaze Red Roaster for about 3 months now. I own a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited and when Chrysler sent their glossy mag featuring concept cars shortly after I bought the Liberty, I knew I wanted a Crossfire. It took me a long time to find what I wanted at a price I could manage and still keep the Jeep. I traveled a fair distance test driving cars and finally found "Lucy" at a dealer close to home. The dealer's daughter had been driving it and she was careful to hide it in the back of the building but one day my son was having his vehicle serviced and he spotted it!

She was very pissed at me for buying the car and as the financial officer, she was bit surly to deal with - however it's now mine.

The other day, while driving the Jeep once again, I nearly tipped it, in fact was riding on two wheels for a bit. Driving the Crossfire is so much fun and it hugs the road so much nicer.

I have to say that I bought this car because I love the design but I never anticipated the attention it draws. If I were not a 51 year old, happily married pre-menopausal woman, I would be very naughty. I have had to endure the "cougar" teases, and the jokes about it being my menopause baby but it's mine and I am really enjoying it!

Cathie

Cathie...you and I are kindred spirits...I get the same "looks"...oh, mid-life crises car...etc...I say, "screw em"...they're just jealous...and yes, I have a Jeep, too...it's a great car, but in no way, would I choose to drive that car when I have my Aeroblue Crossfire Roadster smiling at me every day. I just LOVE my car...and now and then, I let my husband drive it...

Loved your story!

Love it...

Girls, as someone who is not close to her mid-life crisis, I will tell you that this car attracts some really good looking men! Its my toy, my baby and my "stud" magnet! My friends even got me a magnet that's on my door that says "Support Flirting" which has gotten some good responses at lights when people really look at it!

Welcome to our world... kind of hard to not have an ego with this car, isn't it? Almost better then any drug!

Yes, Sharon...you got that right. Love your magnet! You're probably use to fighting the men off with sticks, but now in your cute car, you'll have to resort to hiring body guards!
