Default Dead Battery

Went to start the Crossfire this morning and it was dead, really dead.
There was nothing open or left on, don't know why it went dead.
Tried to charge it and it will not accept a charge. Keep getting a fault reading on the charger.

Anyone else had this happen?

Thanks Al

Replaced mine a couple of months ago. Check here for what info I could gather at the time:

I started a thread about this yesterday on the other forum. It has happened to me about 6 times over the last 2 years. Of course there is no problems found at the dealership.

Wal Mart stocks replacement battery size 48-3 (direct replacement) for about $45.00 with two year warranty. You may want to try new battery, best price around for crossfire battery and great return policy. I know the car battery is suppose to last longer but I have had them fail just after one year of use after vehicle purchase.
Why not try a new battery and see if the problem goes away, good luck.

I also have replaced 2 Batteries in 4 months of ownership from new with the dealership telling me it is because I don't drive it enough. My response to them is that I have a toyota sitting in my garage that I drive a lot less and it always starts (after 3 years). The last battery I bought, I also bought a little plug in charger with it $25.00 and I have not had a problem since. Now I know we should not have to do this but it is better than fighting with the dealer for a new battery every two months.
