All i had to do in my 04 was nail the throttle with the traction button off. Don't see what the problem was. It would squeal and smoke every time. Never had a problem with the tranny. tires don't last long like that though.

it's a good thing he's asking you and not me ... I'd just smile and tell him that the tires are too spendy for that sort of thing but invite him to go for a ride in which I'd give the kid a thrill or two without spinning off my tires ...

I set a personal record in my truck today. I managed to use the entire interstate ramp as a burnout strip. The truck was at 85 when I finally had to let out of it so I could regain grip and get on the interstate safely. The marks are quite impressive.
