2007 Crossfires... confused...
Ok, DC has said they will produce Crossfires in 2007 but has anyone else wondered why they are not doing any advertising for the car? I see ads on TV and in print for every other DC model but nothing about Crossfires. What gives? Why no hype? Why would they not want to generate interest?

I stopped in 3 dealerships in the Tampa area and spoke with the GM in each location and ALL said they are not offering the Crossfire in '07. I inquired about future production and they didn't think Chrysler was going to continue with the Crossfire program. 2 of them said it was a good thing I bought one because it was going to be a true collectable!!
Bring in the articles that have been posted from Chrysler and drop it on their laps. My experience in any showroom when asking about this car has been a joke. I have had to tell them about the features of the car more often than not.
The marketing for this car sucks!

All the dealers here say "sold by pre order only" So I go to the DC web site and they are still "building" 2005 when you try and build a car on there web site. It makes it real difficult to try and buy one. With this attitude the last years sales will be terrible, then they will pat everyone on the back and say "see we did the right thing and canceled that loser" They will be right but that is no way to run a car company, they will be right all the way to bankruptcy!
So far the ads I have seen have been for the clearance of the 2006 models. Since the inventory of the 2005 Crossfires is very low (just use Chrysler's "search inventories" and see) there would be no reason to advertise them.
Chrylser seems to be waiting for the 2006 inventories to be reduced before they update their website to display their new 2007 models (hopefully including the 2007 Crossfire).

My salesman at Dayton Andrews Clearwater told me last week, they were told to expect some '06 Crossfires in. He found it hard to believe, but that was what he heard. Love to unload my lemon that's for sure. Dayton Andrews has it more than me it seems. Lets put it this way, I'm on a first name basis with the guys at Enterprise rent a car. Thank goodness that doesn't cost me anything. The warrantee is a good thing!!!
It could be why the marketing on the crossfire was so bad is because it's not an American Union built car and since it carries the chrysler name. It's like a b@stard child that no one wants to take responsibility for, hence no support for it...???
