Default My ***** Deep Crazy Project

I'm going to put a thin marine (water-proof) speaker right behind the crossfire's grill, i will have it powered by an amp/receiver unit that will have a hand-set mic connected to it. Basically i'll be able to sit in the cab of my roadster and use the handset to talk to everyone outside -- they'll hear me really loudly.

My cousin did this to his Chevy Tahoe and I've always wanted to do this for the sheer fun of being able to drive on the highway and comment on other people's cars while we're doing 90 mph and have them hear every word I say.

I get a kick out of that.

I'll keep you guys updated on the project. Total component costs should be under $200 but the install might be $150-$400 depending on what they have to do. I'm having a local shop do it.

Maybe two thin speakers, something like this:

OR

I might skip the mixer and the amp and just go with a bullhorn, mount it hidden in the fender somewhere, and then extend the hand unit so it reaches the cab of the crossfire, something like this:
