If your interested in getting your roll bars chromed there will be a one time group buy! These were sent out and chromed by the company I purchased my chrome OEM wheels from. They chromed the entire roll bar and it flawless. These chrome roll bars look great and if you have chrome trim on your x-fire it even looks better as you can see from the pictures. I have ordered the chrome windshield surround and have the car scheduled in this week to have the door handles painted to match my exterior color. Kevin is going to give me exact pricing later this week and he is going to try to keep it around the $125 price if possible. If your interested please sign up on the survey and I'll pm you with instructions on how to get group purchase pricing. If you were to purchase chrome roll bars they would run you around $500 so this is a really good deal.

Thanks Frank. I couldn't load the picture of the standalone roll bar. For some reason I keep getting an error. Is it possible that you can provide us with instructions on how to remove the bars?

The owner of that Xfire is in the UK, and the roll bars are from CTD - Germany and cost about $600. They are a little taller and wider in diameter than the OEM ones.

Ya that's why I started looking for someone to chrome the OEM ones in the U.S. I guess it goes to show how good of a deal this is!

Actually they were only $199 USD plus $50 USD postage and not from CTD!

I got them off ebay from a German company called DJH-Chromline, they came the next day. They are much chunkier than the OEM ones and have a jaunty angle that IMHO really improves the look.

CrossfireLTD: Where did you get the figure $600 from?

I believe they run about that from CTD after shipping. What's the company web site for were you purchased yours? I find it hard to believe we could purchase these for $199. The cheap polished ones cost more than that with shipping. Auto-exclusive told $549 plus shipping with our group discount.

Frank - Nice looking Crossfire! Did you paint your brake caliper housings red - it reminds me of the look of a Porsche...

As I have previously stated I bought these off ebay. The company have a site at: http://www.djh-online.de/shop.html

I now know that I got a bit of a bargin off ebay. The starting bid was $199 USD and I was the only one to bid ... yippee. As I said the posting and packaging was $50 USD to the UK.

Looking at the site thee same bars are listed at 499 euros = about $660 USD without postage and packaging... bummer.

Cheers.

OT post here, but man I wish I could afford another crossfire, those convertibles look so friggin cool with the top down. Damn I totally envy the bugger who owns an SRT6 convertible, lol.
