Re: What other toys other than a Crossfire do you have ?
My other toy is my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited which I purchased new.
It has a 360 ci V8, 245 hp w/345 ft. lbs. torque, Dana 30 w/ limited slip in the front diff. and a Dana 44 with a locker in the rear diff. 0-60 test drives were reported from 6.9 to 7.1 seconds.
It came with every option Jeep offered standard (except for block heater, and tow package).
Leather Interior, Infinity Gold 160 watt 9 speaker stereo (pretty good for '98), automatic (manual not available) , full time 4 wheel drive, special MESH grill (something about those mesh grilles) 16" wheels, dual hood scoops (grilles), special 5 spoke alloy wheels, sun roof.
Again, all of the aforementioned was STANDARD EQUIPMENT for the 5.9 model.
It now has 120,000 miles on it, and I use it as my bad weather vehicle and to go fishing on the beach off road.
It has been off road at Jeep Jamborees and kept up with the CJ's and wranglers for the most part.
This was the only year this special high performance GC was made with the 360, and until 2007 with the advent of the SRT-8 GC, was the fastest Jeep ever made.
It also has pi**ed off a lot of people at the stop light. All and all, one hell of a fun vehicle. My all-time favorite, next to my baby, my Crossfire.

My other baby - a 1974 Piper Warrior. It's leased to a local flying club but eventually I'll pull it and keep it for myself, just can't afford to right now.
These pictures were picked to give a different perspective. There are fixed gear airplanes, retractable gear airplanes and in this case a missing main gear airplane. The right main wheel assembly broke away during a training flight but the plane was successfully landed anyway. Contrary to a local TV news report the plane did not suffer significant damage due to the landing.
By the way, in the outdoor shot you can see my other car behind the plane nose. It's a '91 Dodge Spirit R/T and unfortunately has seen better days.

Re: What other toys other than a Crossfire do you have ?
Well my other vehicle is an '04 F-150 but I use that vehicle for work. Always driving trucks for work so when I finally could afford it i bought a crossfire coupe srt6. But I actually went to the dealership to look at a srt8 dodge charger and as luck would have there were none in my area, just the daytona rt and I wanted something faster though. I spotted the crossfire in the lot and I loved the styling but I never drove one or even heard of one before. Had to take it for a test drive and fell in love with the power and the rest is history as they say.

Sold my best toy, an S-10 Top Comp dragster, 574 cu inch Donivan, naturally aspired, normal 1/4 mile time would be mid 7s @ 185 to 190. Real fun, real expensive.
Plan on putting a turbo on the Harley this summer. That should be a real kick when you hit the nitrous! Other than that, it's all about family to me!!

Like my signature says, I have a motorcycle and a gyroplane. I also have a '95 Ford Ranger XLT that I knock around in for everyday stuff. My company gives me a van to use all week so the only time I use the car is on the weekend. First time posting pictures - hope they come out.

My Crossfire is a 2005 SRT6 Roadster in Sapphire Silver Blue with 18K on the clock. In addition, I have a 1989 Ford T-Bird SC 5 speed, a 1991 Jaguar XJ-S Classic Collection Convertible, a 2008 Infiniti G37S Coupe, a 2013 Fiat 500 ABARTH, a 1963 Glastron JetFlite boat, a 2000 Rinker Flotilla deck boat, a 1979 Suzuki GS1000E motorcycle, and a 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 motor scooter. All have been chosen to go fast, not just in a straight line, but around corners also.
Re: What other toys other than a Crossfire do you have ?
Got my first crossfire about 18 months ago, after selling my last corvette---59--original /4 speed/270 hp car/I restored--sold to a collector in Belgium---Then bought a 2005 roadster--now almost completed on restoration (repaint/color change, interior change, etc.) Also have a 59 chevy El Camino I restored about 10 years ago--348/335 HP engine, column shift overdrive/vintage air, disc brakes, upgraded power steering, etc.--also have an 81 Delorean with Corvette engine I installed 4 years ago/adapted the engine to the original transaxle 5 speed---I am almost finished with full restoration of a 1950 Ford woody wagon---restomod---302 Ford engine, disc brakes, power steering, vintage air, tilt wheel, etc. To be 76 years young, as you can tell, I spend most of my spare time in the shop. .Enjoy reading anything about Crossfires, as well as everyones other toys.
