Luggage?
Re: Luggage?
Spoke with the company today that handles the luggage for our Crossfires. She stated that the luggage was originally intended only for the '04 & '05 models, but since Chrysler failed to remove the "Touring Gear" from the window sticker of '06 models, they have decided to issue the luggage to '06 owners as well. She is expecting a list from Chrysler of the owners of '06 models within a week and it will be shipped out as soon as she receives the it. I gave her all my information, just in case my name is not on that list and she is going to look into it for me.

Do not give up. If it says "Touring Gear" on your window sticker then Chrysler owes you a set of luggage.
I purchased an 06' 3 weeks ago and will not let the Chrysler dealer off the hook. They agreed that if its on the sticker, then Chrysler must honor.
Thanks to some posts on this and other treads I have passed contact info to the dealer and they keep me posted via email.
DONT GIVE UP OR GIVE IN. I have seen the luggage sell for $400 on EBAY. Don't leave $400 on the table.

Re: Luggage?
The luggage really is pretty good. I have used mine pretty regular for the last 3 years with little sign of wear. The luggage came to my door step about 2 weeks after purchase via FedEx. I really was not expecting it, but did not turn it away!!. The only thing I use the satchel for is to keep the car cover in. Not sure why, but it works for me!
Re:Canadian Luggage?
I recently bought a company 05' Roadster, when I asked about the Touring Gear luggage, she knew nothing about it.
I contacted Chrysler assistance and asked then as some have done on the forum. They redirected my e-mail to TRD to handle. The next day I got an e-mail from Mandy, (her name has appeared on the posts). She asked for my VIN # and said she would check with Chrysler for me.
Two days later she e-mailed and said I'm not eligible because it was a Canadian car sale??
Has any one in Canada ever received the luggage?
Did the new on the lot Canadian sticker show the Touring Gear?
If that is indeed the case maybe we (Canadians) need to complain to Chrysler about it and we will also qualify. They didn't offer the luggage on the 06's and 07's but when owners complained they got it sooo?

Re: Luggage?
There was an e-mail address for a Ms Gerry Clawson in one of the threads concerning the luggage issue. I e-mailed her got an out of office reply, (she is on 4 weeks medical leave) she forwarded it to Mandy Hardy at TRG Group who handle the promo for Chrysler.
Mandy seems to be the main contact person with Chrysler, seemed friendly but Supposedly luggage not included in Canada car purchases??

Re: Luggage?
Hi. bought an '06 with touring gear three weeks ago. Last week I called about the luggage and I was in their system and it was due to be shipped shortly. From my talk with them I was under the impression that they wanted to stop the shipping the luggage but because it was on the sticker they didn't have a choice. My feeling is this, if it is on the sticker you paid for it one way or another and deserve it. Canada or not. If Canada didn't want to participate they should have remade the sticker, crossed it out or something (Big letters DOES NOT APPLY). The sticker says you get luggage don't take no for an answer, keep elevating the problem until they give you your luggage... Seems to me that if they are not going to make too many more Crossfires the there should be plenty of luggage for all of us to have two sets. Good luck to you...
Re: Luggage?
nox1s - I just got mine off the Chrysler Employee lot Saturday. I did not see anything on my copy of the invoice listing Touring Gear, and as this was a an employee lease car until last week, it did not have a window sticker.
I'm not expecting any luggage, though I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I'll post on this thread if it shows up. Maybe someone else has done a similar transaction in the past few weeks, and can let us know what to expect.

Re: Luggage?
FP:
Mandy's contact info is:
Phone: 314-447-3143
Fax: 888-882-8127
As for whether it's a buy from the company should not matter as far as I know?
The company cars are plated and leased, you/me are the first time owners. Mandy had no problem with my having bought the car from the company lot.
My question is still whether anyone in Canada who bought a new off the lot car, did your window sticker show the Touring gear on it?
If not we should all get together and e-mail Chrysler Assistance and ask for 'Equal Rights'.

Re: Luggage?
I just spoke with Gerry Clawson at TRD (she is back from her medical leave) and she advised that they do have me on their list to receive the luggage. However, they have over 1,000 names they received from Chrysler to receive the luggage and they have to manually enter all these names into their system. So she estimates it will be a couple of more months before we receive our luggage. What really sucks is they are only about a 15 minute drive from me, I offered to drive over and pick it up, but they have to ship it out. Something to do about order verification.
