I just received an e-mail from Gerry on Thursday. She said she didn't think that cars sold in Canada qualified for the Touring Gear, but was sending my concern/question unto a higher authority. I think if the Canadian owners keep bugging them that we could get the luggage as well?

Bought my 2006 Limited Roadster on 25 May '07 and got the luggage FedEx yesterday. I didn't know it was coming. Read the sticker and it listed "Touring Gear" on it. My son bought his 2006 Limited Roadster on 28 April '07 from a different dealer. No luggage yet for him. His sticker also lists Touring Gear on it. He'll be making some phone calls per the thread in this user group.

I got my luggage per my message above. My son got his luggage FedEx today, 20 June '07, just after calling the provider who said it was on the way. Interesting that the earlier purchase got the luggage later.

White '06 Limited Roadster (mine).
Gold '06 Limited Roadster (younger son's).
Red '06 Limited Coupe (older son's employee new lease - last year's lease was an '05 black SRT6 coupe, aw shucks! Luggage doesn't come with lease vehicles).

Let me get this straight. You "lease" a car, and one of the "options" on that car is "Touring Luggage" and they mail that to you.
So does that mean that you are expected to turn the luggage back in with the car at the end of your lease?

~ no it's mine to keep (or sell)... others have returned their leased cars and have not been expected to return used/worn luggage.

Yeah, but if you turned "Yours" back in, they'd probably be in "better" condition than when you received them.

At least there wouldn't be any brake dust on the wheels, and the "rust" problem would be taken care of.

My older son works for Chrysler and has an employee lease benefit. Perhaps that's the difference. I sent him an email about private leasees (spelling?) getting luggage for applicable cars. There's no question in my mind that the luggage belongs to you.

Hello! I'm new to the forum.

Anyway, friends of mine purchased a new Crossfire on March 31, I fell in love and went on April 2 and bought my own from the same dealer. Brand new with 21 miles on it... not used. Last Monday, June 11 they received a set of luggage and told me to be on the look out for mine. Well, so far nothing. This afternoon I called Gerry Clawson and she called me back within an hour. I am not on the list but she told me she would check into it and let me know. Touring Gear is listed on my window sticker.

Hello & welcome to the forum. Gerry Clawson will take care of the matter for you. Although I am surprised that were not on the list because you purchased 9 days before we did. When I called Gerry my name was on the list. Maybe you should contact the dealer you purchased from as well.
