Biggest Suitcase in a Roadster?
Biggest Suitcase in a Roadster?
Hello all...
I've been using my crossfire luggage since I got my car, but now I've got a major trip coming up and I need to use a larger suitcase. It's difficult to measure what I can fit because of the weird angle our trunk opening is at.
I was just wondering if anyone has stuffed a large suitcase in their roadster (with partition folded away of course)? If so, what's the general size?
Thanks!

A word of caution - from page 53 in the owners manual:
"Use caution when putting items into the storage compartment with the top in the closed position. The tonneau cover extensions are exposed and can be damaged if luggage or other items are pushed too far into the storage compartment."

With the top up I can fit a typical airline rolling suitcase and a computer bag. The Crossfire rolling suitcase is actually a tight fit! Top up, no problem with the Crossfire roller expanded + soft bag + computer bag.
With the top up, I can take all the gear out of a hockey bag and distribute around the trunk (including under the soft-top). Sticks have to go in the cab, though. Makes a good statement and you can whack anyone who gets too close to you on I96.
