Have any of you been invited?
Just wanted to know if any of you have been invited as an XF Roadster owner to participate in a Market Research study as part of a focus group on some sort of new sports car? I did this a number of years ago on SUV's. You're there for 2-3 hours and shown numerous pictures and asked a million questions. Then your paid and you're on your way. This time it came to me as a Crossfire owner OR owner of an S2000, Audi TT, Porsche Boxter, MB SLK, Miata and Solstice. I assume the car will be an upcoming new Sports car, and a Roadster at that. They run these for 3 days at various time intervals. My slot is Sunday Morning at 8 AM at the NJ Meadowlands Convention Center. Anyone else invited? Anyone else going? The moneys pretty good too.
Marc,
When I first purchased my Roadster Limited I was contacted by DChrysler and was paid $200 for a 45 minute phone survey on my buying experience.

Wow. This is only $150 for 2-3 hours. Last time as I recall it was $100. But no recording equipment, cameras or cell phones are allowed in.
I've been to a couple of these events.
My suggestion...Be very vocal and critical. Don't be afraid to stir up some sh*t ! Far from being tossed out as a troublemaker, pointed intelligent critics are just what the market research folks are looking for! You may get invited back for a follow-up !
Cheers,
Slim

I'm jealous. I get a survey in the mail with a dollar bill and take half an hour to fill it out. Sign me up.
I always **** and moan about the useless cupholder and the poor shifting from 1st to 2nd. Otherwise I love my Crossfire.
