Will we be able to just buy the multi-color light option?

 

This option will not need a multi color light. It's actually done at the time of the laser etching process...

 

I'm a bit dense...sorry...but, does that mean for those of us that have the single light option, it won't be possible to add the multi color? IOW, once "blue" always "blue" as in my windscreen...not that I don't like "blue"...and not sure I'd want a multi-colored windscreen...but I am curious.

If I'm reading this right, and viewing the image correctly, this new "multi-color" thing is not determined by any auxiliary lighting component, but rather color pigment of some sort added directly to the etched surface of the windblocker itself. Put another way, it is not "multi-color" in the sense of various colored lights, it's more like having an image printed on the windblocker.

 

That would be great if you want your favorite sports team emblem on there.

 

All I would need is silver and some green for our Seahawks!

 

Yes that is correct the color is not an illumination, but an actual color. Your Seahawks would look wonderful or anything would for that matter,
your favorite dog, cat, butterfly, frog, name, family emblem...the list just goes on and on and on...

To answer the other part of your question, it is easy to change the color of your illumination (blue) by just changing the LED strip at the bottom of your wind screen.

 

The multi color option will not be produced by lighting. You are right mike orange.

 

Option is going to be a multi color laser injection method similar to what glass artists use. It will open up a whole new avenue for our artistically inclined roadster owners. It's going to be wonderful!!!
