Drunk and Stupid!!!
I bet if you mentioned that you were drunk the old man would have reacted much differently. I guess if you want to leave out that important fact of being drunk and just let daddy fix all your problems you have still not assumed full responsibility for you actions. I hope you can live with the guilt for not coming forward with the full story and for that as I said before GROW UP !! Being young is no excuse for being stupid and I have no sympathy for you or your actions.
so i'm guessing he also bought the car for you... and now is paying for it to be fixed.
may sound a bit absurd coming from another kid, but seems like daddy isn't helping the lesson learning.
you should pay for the damage done.
guess it might just be jealousy because i pay for everything on my own and have never had anything handed to me. but that's also why i work so hard to pay for the things i want.
either way, i believe the lesson will be learned. i know the last thing i want to do is let down my dad and if he paid for everything i'd probably feel even worse letting him down.

If so, what are you 16 years old?! thats just irresponsible and disrespectful...
I suggest that you...
1.) pay for the repairs on the poor little XF.
2.) get your own car to f-ed up.
3.) stop driving drunk.
This coming from a teenager who has not ONCE driven drunk. Which is saying a lot as I don't know a single teenager who can honestly say they haven't ever driven drunk...
I feel bad for this generation... the world is coming to an end...
Dont listen to any of these people. Lie, Lie, Lie. Who cares, your young and I would bet that almost everyone has had at least a couple of drinks and got behind the wheel. Unfortunaltely this is going to cost you some money unless your dad doesnt give two ***** about his car, which i doubt. Take it to the dealership and have them fix your rims, the alignment could be off for a number of reasons, blame that on him. Lie to the end, what good is going to come from telling the truth??
I can bet that most of us at one point in our life has driven while drunk (not that it excuses the act, but) I feel this a car forum and we should stick to discussing the resolution to the cars problem and not make the forum a church pulpit... excuse the spelling in advance.

"He just told me he would take care of it monday and that he was glad nothing happened to me."
I think this is a bs post, but I'll bite. You are stupid AND spoiled. I've had to work for every single thing I've ever owned. Because of that, I cared more for my possessions. I've had my 1965 Chevelle since I was 15. Never did I drive drunk because I was more worried about effing up my car that I had worked so hard for paying for. You are a spoiled jacka$$!!
I'm 99% sure this is one of those bored person posts who try to spark up an argument.

Well, it sounds like you are still trying to minmize your behavior as a another member pointed out, "Now this is getting a little confusing. In post #1, the writer said "I was really drunk and showing off my roadster to my friend." But in post #12, the same writer said "I was the only one in the car" and "there were not any cars or pedestrians around." So where was the "friend" from the first post? We would like to help, but I do think we're entitled to have all of the facts first."
Sounds like you lied by omission to your dad too.
I'm not here to judge you, but at age 16 it appears you already have a problem with alcohol and the poor judgement that results. If this was an isolated incident, i.e you can drink infrequently without getting drunk, lesson learned. On the other hand, if you find yourself drinking and getting drunk, after you swore to yourself you "would never do it again", I would recommend that you Google Alcoholics Anonymous and get thee to a meeting. Alcoholics minimize, lie by ommission, etc. Alcoholism is a physical addiction, a mental obsession and a spirtual problem. You are only 16 years old, so you have the chance now to change the direction alcohol is taking your life. I wish you the very best, one day at a time.

Wow. I can honestly say I have never drove drunk. But I have lost two very close friends because of it. One very recently. No matter who was on the road you still should not have done it. Showing off the car might seem like a cool idea at the time but its something that can deffinately wait. And did you not have to drive on roads to get to your "spot"? Your very very lucky no one was hurt! But you need to see this as an eye openeer and never ever do something like that again. If something ever happens you would never be able to forgive yourself.
I hope your not bs ing us here on this thread but just dont do it ever again!

Who brought this thread back the kids a tool regardless of if this is fake or real should be banned either way. Who even post **** like this its like telling someone to get the news paper to read about you getting a DUI sell the car you don't deserve and go jump off a bridge.
Ah, how well I remember the days of my youth, they say youth is wasted on the young & how true that is!. Getting in any car drunk is a NO NO. Mine was a 49 Ford Convertable, (worth more now than a Crossfire!). Just be pleased you only damaged the Crossfire, not someones life, car can be fixed easily, just takes a few bucks but anothers life is another matter. I now, at a older age treasure my Crossfire & feel I am very lucky to own it & would NEVER do anything to even scratch it. Consider it a valuable lesson & do not ever repeat it again. Fess up, pay for its repair & move on in a more positive direction.
My take only, but been there, done that & do not wish to repeat it, EVER!
Why do I get the impression that the poster is some highschool harry punk that doesn't even own a Crossfire and is wasting all of our time with this B.S. ?
Ever wonder how many members we have that would like to own a Crossfire but don't ? There's a lot of sickos around.
How about some pictures of the damaged rims ?

sort Of Like The Previous Post Of The Guy From South Korea Who Got A Crossfire As A Gift, But Owns A Much More Exotic Sports Car. He Posted A Video Of The Yellow Crossfire With The Notation To Literally Trash The Car. Girlfriend Going However Many Miles Per Hour And Doing Donuts In A Parking Lot, Smoke Just A Flying!! Real Cute, Takes A Lot Of Intellegence To Do That, Some People Got Way To Much Money And Think It Is Cool To Just Destroy The Stuff. Thank God At This Stage In Life I Have More Common Sense And Appreciation For What I Got And How Hard It Is To Come By When You Actually Have To Scrimp And Save To Obtain One, Makes You Appreciate What You Got In A Proper Fashion. Sell The Damm Thing And Give The Money To Some Poor Starving Kids Somewhere And One Dont Have To Look Very Far To Find Them.. Sounds Like A Some Of Our Hollywood, Spoiled Brats. Well Enough Venting, One Positive From That Video, At Least I Now Know How Stable My Crossfire Would Be Doing Donuts!!!!!!!, Let The Flak Begin.
Hmmm- You keep saying there were no cars around! I'm sure you passed a few while driving drunk getting to and from "the spot". Your lucky that nothing happened and let this be a lesson "DON"T DRINK AND DRIVE".
