Top rattle in roadster
I have a harminic vibration at about 2200 RPM or when going over a "jiggly" road surface. It manisfests itself in the roadster top behind the drivers headrest. Seems to not be noticeable when the top is down. I can't find anything in the top operating mechanism that seems to vibrate. Anyone have any expereince in tracking this irritation down?

I infrequently notice various rattles or squeeks in the top. They are not there in the AM but I hear noise at lunchtime. Or not at lunchtime but heard going home. It clears if I put the top down and back up again. I wonder if there is something in the design of the top that makes it "loosen" or tighten with temperature changes and a "restretching" during operation allows it to fix itself?

I have creeks in mine occasionally...seems like it happens more when it's cold outside and if I'm going over bumps in the road....the top on my old 95 Lebaron didn't do this but maybe it's just a quirk of the car....if you want to read about top problems go over to the Solstice forum....man those tops are real crap.
