Installed Leather Seats in Base Roadster
Just wanted to say I installed power leather seats in my base roadster. What a huge difference! The seats were from a 2004 limited. My roadster is a 2005. The connections didn't match up, so I had to splice the wires, the colors all matched up, so I spliced them in and the seats work perfect! The wife was visiting her family and had the camera the weekend I did it (hence having the time to do it) or I would have taken pics. It was fairly easy, just a little scary knowing I was splicing up wires. All is well, cloth seats are sold (ebay) and many, many thanks to droptopxfire who gave me help and instructions on adding the power seat relay to do the job! Didn't do the heated seats, but droptopxfire mentioned he was going to attempt it, I would like to try once he gives it a try.
Glad to hear you got them installed and working. You must have found the location for the relay. Sorry I didn't have any photos to share but glad to hear I was of some help.
When I tackle the heat part I will be sure to document it.

Did the same thing on my SE roadster. Acquired seats from LQK on ebay. Fabricated the harness.. Sold fabric seats..bottom line was $250 and four hours time. Don't use the car in winter so heated seats not used..
