Passenger Side Mirror Snapped Off
Thanks again...Yes, I have it set to be painted prior to installation. I got, what I think, is a good deal on the paint job. I don't know if there is a link for installing the side mirror on the forum. I've looked, but haven't come across it. I can have it installed for $45.00 unless I can find a DIY link and it's not too difficult for my husband. He did install my illuminated wind screen and only broke ONE part on the latch that holds the flap in the trunk...ugh! I got it replaced for about $20.00..
I'll look for your card and I'll send you whatever the shipping costs were that you incurred...

GG I was looking around but had no luck finding the passenger side. I found a drivers side only, but am glad you have one now.
FP, she doesn't have it yet. But, it was picked late this afternoon It was kind of sad when I put the mirror in the box. It was like part of me was leaving. LOL
I completely understand the
feeling when parting (pun intended) with a piece of your Crossfire. I would feel the same. I promise you it's going to a good home and I will take great care and caution with my future back-up efforts.
I will also send you a pic of the mirror once it's painted and installed so we can have one of those "open adoptions" arrangements.
Remember, we're all part of one big family and if I can offer my help, I will be sure to "pay it forward".
I do appreciate all of you!

You may want to wait until the mirror is installed, and working, and you are pleased with the paint....lol

By the way, What is your ginn?
You got it...we have beautiful courses all over...and I'd be honored to have you and your wife come out our way and treat you two to the hospitality of the Great Northwest! We'd treat you to a special salmon feast and a sunset cruise on Lake Washington checking out the likes of Bill Gate's home and other gorgeous homes that line the shore.
Open invitation...I'll PM you my Ginn....

any tips on finding a passenger mirror for an '04 sapphire silver blue metallic crossfire? The mirror is cracked and the spring mechanism is broken, but the actual mirror housing is in good shape. But from what I've read, I'm looking at a full replacement.
Thanks,
-Micah

( If, as you say, the housing is OK, just make sure the glass is intact in what you order ... )
