PS3 is Saphire Silver Blue, give me your last 8 of your VIN and I'll tell you what your build sheet says

I got these two colours from a VIP Summary report P53, Q53

The info is provided to the Dealer in accordance with section 4 of dealers software Licence Data exchange and Electric commerce agreement with Chrysler Motors LLC

So i wondered if Chrysler may have painted the Roadster in two paint variations..say bumpers different from body panels etc.

The VIP summary report is what I was looking at in Dealer Connect. I don't see anything else other than PS3.

I have a minor dent on my front fender as it meets the bumper cover..While the bumpers are off getting CDN bumper absorbers installed, I thought I would have them repair the dent. It may be possible to work it out with dollys but the repair shop isnt sure.....

The problem I see is getting a true color match should he have to paint the fender. That color looks different in every light and I heard it fades fast...Even the formulae can have varriants, and the mix is crucial. The saphire blue was not listed in the chrysler 2005 paint selection...Apparently it's a 2006 color specific to the Crossfire.

Andy says he will have to mix up the paint and do a color match test to see if it comes out the same.

It's time like this I wish it was black.

Does anyone with Sapphire Blue metallic have any experience or reports regarding color matching paint on their cars?

I had a small area of minor damage on my quarter panel right by the gas cap door on my SSB Crossfire. The body shop I chose I knew very well and they repaired and resprayed the entire quarter panel and blended into the door and roof line and I will tell you I was absolutely impressed. You can not tell in any light that it ever was touched by a shop. ABSOLUTE PAINT MATCH !!
My Crossfire is a 2004.

My roadster has been in the body shop at the Chrysler dealer 5 different times and they have matched the color perfectly every time. The body shop manager did say that saphire silver blue is a hard color to match.
