But, you can install a beeper (purchased from Radio Shack) for less than $5....or replace the siren with a new one for about $60 (which is what I did). There are separate threads for each with part numbers included.

 

Bad seats (I'm 16 and my lower back kills)

No tilt (my 1994 corvette has tilt)

Traction control cannot be deactivated fully. Need to get to the yaw sensor under the center console, and even then, ABS shuts off too.

Clunky gears (brother's 1999 Mustang GT w/ short throw slides in like its greased.

Shifter is way too light and feels like a fragile, hollow dome that will break easily.

But I'm on love with this thing, so I can live with it

I guess you can say I like cars lol.

My father has a 2006 300C SRT-8, so I know about all of the vices on those beasts, most notably the torque management. His best run is a 12.7 and his best trap is 111mph. Got the video and timeslips to prove it

My brother has a 1999 Mustang GT convertible with Saleen bumpers, hood, side skirts and 3-piece wing. Sucks for him, you can't squeeze a thing out of a 2- valver lol just kidding.

Dad also has a 1981 Daytona pace car T/A with a different motor. Can't quite remember at the moment, more on that later. Also have a 1980 Camino with a 434 pushing around 550hp. And finally, the corvette is kind of a family car, the best run is 13.3 @ 103 with my 17 year old brother at the wheel.

I guess one can consider us "hardcore." I would type more, but its hard to type on an iPhone lol.

I'd say only the lack of a tilt as well as telescoping steering wheel. If I had just a little more space to get in by just stepping in with my right leg then dropping my hiney to the seat it would be nice. As it is I have to sit sideways on the seat, scootch my butt a littler further in, lift my right foot and twist it to avoid hitting stuff while at the same time lifting it in and under the steering and placing it on the floor. Only then does my left leg enter the bat-mobile. It is a process not easily learned the first time.

The bat-mobile for me would not make a good getaway car...

 

Cupholder for sure. I knew it when I bought it but didn't realize at the time that you can't put styrofoam cups in them. Like others said, it's just a little thing and love the car as a whole. So if this is my only gripe, I'm ok with it. Had the car over a week now and loving every minute of it! I need some extra moola to get some decent mods.

 

Now you know how the Hokey Pokey got started. Right leg in, right leg out, hiney in and you shake it all about. You know the rest!

Yep! I pretty much have to move the power seat back every time I get in or out (old man syndrome). I'm afraid I'm going to burn out the seat motor. Sure hope it is covered by the Maxcare Warranty. Although, I am finding out the there are several luxury items that are not covered?

 

wish the car was a little faster, wish it was a little lower, wish it had a better cup holder, wish it wouldnt scratch so easily, wish it came with steering wheel controls, wish it came with xenon head lights, wish the high beams were more powerfull, wish the passenger seat had 8 way control, wish it had 6 disc cd changer, wish it came with a lcd color screen, wish there were betterinterior lighting...thats about it

 

It seems to beep at me more than is absolutely necessary.

i dunno what you guys are bitchin bout on the cup holder for.. ya its not the greatest cup holder out there and could be bigger but comin from a sunfire with the TRUE meanin of a totally completely useless cupholder, i have no complaints of the cupholder.. and i think its purdy damn cool haha ya im a retard lol BUT i do hate how you can't move your sun visors to the side cuz honestly.. com'on.. when does the sun ever just shine at the windshield.. like ****! lol and yes.. the non-tiltin steerin wheel.. but i love my baby so i dont care! =) ♥

 

I guess that I didn't realize how much attention a yellow Crossfire roadster attracts.
Just yesterday, as I sat on the shoulder of the road, a nice gentleman came to my window and said, "Sure is a nice car!", as he handed me a speeding ticket.

 

Least fave feature? Outside of not being able to drive with the top down all year long because the weather refuses to co-operate with my desire to ride around topless all the time?

I would have to agree with the majority - the cup holder leaves a lot to be desired... Mine doesn't always stay locked, so my drinks have been known to flop back and forth when I slow down or stop... Also, with this being a 2-seater, why is there not a passenger cup holder? Hhhmmm....

But when all is said and done, its a hot car.... after 3 years of driving this car, I STILL get compliments and I still get questions...

Only thing that I can think of is that I cant move the visor on my Roadster to the driver window. That gets annoying fast. If there is a way let me know cause that really bothers me.

 

Here's a link to a post about a my visor solution for my coupe. It would probably work for a roadster also? Not really fancy, but it works. Just used it yesterday. I keep it under the drivers floor mat, and it can be used on either side.
