One of our members is already doing that to the best of his ability, I believe it was SRT6. Here are a few threads that might help.

The Biggest remaining Question I have is How many of the 938 SRT6 Roadsters & 2016 SRT6 Coupes are in the USA?(+12/13 2006s?)
& How many of the 75,000+ Total XFs Manufactured are in the USA & Canada?
There are an awful lot overseas, many more than we imagine, I'll bet!
(Maybe 25%, 30%, 35%, maybe even more, especially the SRT6's 'gut feeling' Plus a lot of Foreign XF Owners chiming in here!)

It would be interesting to find out how many cars were built of any one certain color.
Being able to determine how many automatics were built compared to 6 speeds would be nice.
Knowing the interior color #'s, and what exterior colors came with what color interior, etc.
If we could simply have copies of the records of everything, and what the actual codes were to decipher all those #'s, we could determine the answers to alot of questions, that have yet to be answered.
That's why I think we need an "inside man" at Karmann to work for us to collect as much info as possible. All the production information should be considered public knowledge, just attaining it is the trick.

Were the production numbers ever discovered for the roadsters? I can't seem to find a breakdown between coupes and roadsters and even would like to know how many of each color by year. Is this info available?
Yeah, from my perspective, it would be nice to find out how many of the 2016 SRT-6 coupes were manufactured for the US?? I read (I think on Wikipedia that about 1000 made it to North America). Don't know how reliable this data is...
I even wish there was a way to go one step further of finding out how many '05 SRT-6 coupes in the US are still operational (I know, this is subjective)...
Considering it's been ~ 7 years since the '05 SRT-6 was built, I'm sure that not all 1000 are in good operational order. This add to the rarity of the car! :-)
