Default poor radio issues

My radio seems to have poor AM reception. The dealer pulled the radio and reconnected the antenna and that also heled the speaker performance, but the AM is still weak and the scan skipps over stations I know are there.

Any other radios performing like this? What Sirius radios have people used in the crossfire?

My AM reception is terrible. It's an inherent flaw in the antenna system and seems to be a widespread issue.

But all I listen to these days are CD's and my Sirius Starmate. Check my gallery for where I put it.

I don't have a problem with most AM stations at all but the FM could be better. Though FM's effective range is only 20 miles I used to get better reception when I had one of those longer stick antennas on my old car.
