Roadster bolt-on Horsepower
I am thinking of increasing HP in my base model Roadster with bolt-on power. The only thing I've done at this point is install K&N filters in the stock air boxes. Im thinking I'll do a Magnaflo exhaust, then, if I can find one that fits, a turbo charger. A friend also told me about a chip I could install for added power.
My question is, how much power can I install before I have to worry about other things not holding up like Transmission, rear end, clutch etc.
Thanks to everyone for there thoughts in reguards to a WR.

A few have talked about it but haven't seen many if any that have carried it off.
As your car is basically stock you still have a few options to increase your cars horses.
Remember stock your car is 215bhp, this can be increased quite alot without looking at turbos by changing the intake, exhaust, injectors, ecu remap etc. TVT_DESIGN have a dyno proven 250+ bhp by changing the above.
Have a look at the threads posted by TVT_DESIGN, Inmotion, Needswings and you will find your extra power alot quicker and save the head ache of trying to fit a turbo.
JT,
Your question may show your age (young I bet) and my answer may show my age 57. Just drive your stock roadster and enjoy it just like it is. The focus should be on having fun and relaxing vs. fast and who can I out run.
Cheers,
George
PS: No offense intended.
