New cabrio owner, tyres and wheels ???
New cabrio owner, tyres and wheels ???
Hello everybody,
I just bought a Crossfire Cab. '07 with 6000km. What a lovely car. Top down all the time even if when it's cloudy and 10 degrees. Can't wait to drive it in the mid summer during the long summer days on the Finnish roads between the lakes.
Here are some pictures of it. I just also bought a wind reflector but it is not installed in the pictures, it really helps on the highways'.
Can someone reply to this simple but complicated question:
I have to find alloy-wheels for it and was wondering about the ET numbers. front and back wheels. In Finland they don't sale the car anymore, only 3 cabriolets sold in 3 years, so mine is unique
And does someone have a good internet site where it might be possible to buy those wheels and tyres?
Best regards,
aka martosh79

First, welcome to the Forum and a great car. You're a brave man buying one of 3 in Finland. And we worry about future parts and service here!
I'm not sure what you are looking for in the way of wheels, but I pulled my stock rims off this past weekend to wash them well and noticed they are made in Poland. There might be a mfr name as well - I did not notice. That's certainly closer to you than us.
You can also check the technical section of the forum and do a search on rims or wheels. You might hit on some after-market information.

Re: New cabrio owner, tyres and wheels ???
THX,
I will have to check the Poland sites.
I just saw a xfire with the Lorinser LM6 wheels. Does look really nice; does someone know how to fit them in the car? If I remamber correctly the ET for the xfire is ET 35 infront qnd ET22 for the rear rims.
How could you adjust the, in the car? Do you have to find some extra item to connect them?
Easier question, does someone know some wheels in 18" that are good looking; i have to find some rims for the winter and put on them some spike tires.
Best regards,
Martosh
