Has anyone seen this tv commercial? It has this teenage kid talking about his dad's mid-life crisis, and how his "dull dad" bought life insurance. He says his dad should "live a little", and then dad pulls up in a red Crossfire Roadster.

Pretty cool commercial. Not many Crossfire sightings on tv.

 

Yes, I have seen it 3 or 4 times. Nice to see a great car on tv. To bad it didn't get better coverage when they were for sale.

 

I haven't seen that commercial. What time of the day or night does it appear? Is it localized or a national network thing?

Next time I see it I will keep track of time and channel. My wife usually has the tv on, I surf the net.
I think it was on fox 25 around 7 pm.

OK, so I've got a red roadster and I'm 50. I still take exception to the "mid-life crisis" thing!

 

I just saw the ad on ABC during Good Morning America today. The ad has been around for quite a while. I remember seeing it before I bought my Crossfire last November and forgot about it and didn't remember that the dad came home with a Crossfire.

 

I hearded that from a lady at the dealer when I bought my car. What a ......

I just think of it more like a "Midlife Crisis Intervention".

 

Whatever reason any of us used to get it, we did...I think it was a mid-life crisis thing, along w/wanting to own a cool vehicle...shoot - one day I'll do this or that...and I decided I'm going to do it period...so label as you feel free...I drive a gold XFire that turns heads at every glance and is beautiful and fast...

 

Do people see the Crossfire as an old-person's sports car? I don't. I'm only 31 and I think it's just about the sexiest car out there.

 

I just saw it on "truTV"also on comcast cable channel 65 in my area at about 8:10 pm.

 

Driving back to work after lunch today, I pulled up next to a late 90's Trans-Am that was in really good shape and shiny as a new penny. It was a gray-haired old goat just like me! We complimented each other's cars and pulled away at the green light in tandem and quick. Sounded great and looked better. I guess we deserve what we want!

 

It's the retro styling of this car that attracts so many age groups. Oh, and the value for those that bought it used or inventory reduction.
