They just put that on the steering wheel to fool you. I assure you It still takes all the expensive german replacement parts. When the oil changes cost more than a real Chrysler's radiator... it's simply a rebadged Mercedes.

volkswagon's are just cheaper porches or audi's anyway, and the saab 9-2x is really a subaru, the saab 9-7x is really a chevy envoy, the pontiac vibe is somebody elses car too, the dodge makes trucks for nissian as well, with all the rebaging of vehicles today, nobody knows what the heck they are driving any more !!! the crossfire is only 7 bages away of being a benz, I really think thats the 11% of chrysler's contrubution, I really do love my chrysler crossfire, but also love knowing its all mercedes underneath, the benz grille does look good and I could see myself maybe wanting one as well, getting it away from the looks of the new sebring, which from the front looks like a crossfire on steriods, it would make our crossfires stand out more. just some thoughts

Actually since my 3 year 36k mile warranty is up. I can now get my car worked on at any "AMC" garage I can find open.

LOL this arguement never gets old the powered by MB under the hood is about as far as it should go.

ANYway since BOSCH makes most of the electrical parts I decided to wire one of these to the horn.

I don't get any of you owners with this Logo thing, If you wanted a MB you should have bought one instead.
All MB's look alike! Crossfire has the style and was a Limited production, One day it will be a classic, MB will be MB and still look like it's MB family.

'RACERMP' I agree 'this will not end well'........ I purchased my Crossfire because of styling. I probably won't like paying MB prices for parts (when/if needed). Don't like the thought of the costs for replacement tires (but since I've only got 2700 miles on my 2007 that will be several years in the future). I've come from a '96 Deville to my roadster and it is definitely DIFFERENT. Saying this, I feel that whatever 'floats your boat' is right for you -no matter who you are- after all YOU paid for it!! The way I feel now I'll keep mine stock with MAYBE a Powered by Mercedes badge in the engine bay sometime. As for everyone else: ENJOY the heck out of your car as I intend to do with mine. (Got to admit that some of the comments in this thread show a decided gift for humor!!) Comparing my Crossfire with the '63 MGB (red) and the '57 Chevy convertible (red) I owned is no contest. I liked them but I like the Crossfire BETTER!!!

Oh god, will you guys please give it a rest w/ this Benz badge thing. Mercedes are great cars but so are our CHRYSLER Crossfires. It makes it seem like youre embarassed to drive a Chrysler and have to make the constant association w/ Mercedes to try and compensate. Be proud!
