Default Material in the Crossfire bodywork

Does anyone know if the Crossfire body is made of steel or aluminum?

Steel. Aluminum cars are very expensive and hard to repair.

Quick tip for you if your looking at a used car to buy & know it's metal for sure from the factory, take a very small household magnet, type like adheres to your metal refrig, & a plain piece of paper. Lay the paper against the body anywhere,so you won't scratch the paint, & apply the magnet to the paper. If it adheres to the car in all places you test, no body repair has probably been performed, but if it falls away from the paper as you move along, you are more likely looking at a panel repair area with putty of some type in the past. ENJOY
