Talking Windscreen

How do you all like my new windscreen? As a retiree and having had a member of the family in each of these branches, I thought I would pay a tribute to the country and the armed services.

Love the screen! Did you make it? How does it attach? Can you post pics of attachment?

Yes I did. I just sent the guy an email with that very picture, so if you copy it and send it to him at sales@windrestrictor.com, he'll know exactly what you are talking about; not that you necessarily want to copy my design, but I wouldn't mind

His name is Stephen. He says he has pictures of the design with illumination. They are pretty good with working with you.

It's beautiful, but does it work well? Thanks for the tribute to the Armed Forces. Have a son in Ft. Bragg, just back safe & sound this summer from a year in Afghanistan, S Korea before that.

Yes, it does cut down on the air in the middle, but you still get some from just over the seat back, but nothing like it was. Windows up w/screen, my wife wouldn't really need to wear her visor. About the only time I have the windows up is if there is a strong cross wind, I'm on the phone, or she is just still a bit too cold.

Glad he made it back safe and sound; thank him for his service.

With this one only the very center is obscured a bit, but I've been driving daily in traffic, nothing like the really big cities and haven't had a problem. If I can figure out how to go about taking a picture as if I'm looking in the rear view mirror, I'll try to post that.

For the most part, I don't see it as a problem.

Very nice! I just installed my windscreen yesterday from windrestrictor.com. Mine just has the roadster silhouette and "C R O S S F I RE" underneath with the red lighting. Erzer, did you get yours with the LED lighting?

No, but he said it is easy enough to add the lighting. In fact he is trying to get me to buy it. Says he has some pictures he took with it lit up and is going to send me some. Unless they made one after mine, it has to be mine as it is an original design.

The LEDs really add effect at night. Check out my gallery. You can also order differant colors and it is no big deal to change.

Why yes it is. They didn't tell me they did that, but that sure is mine. Looks nice in the blue, but my XF is red.

Sorry, I should have specified better, it is chiefly a tribute to my family and the services they served in. Either my dad, brother, uncle(s), grandfather and I all served in one of those branches.

No offense to the CC, but nobody in my family ever went that route.
