Default Crossfire Limited Roadster Vs BMW Z4 roadster...

hey again you guys. I was just wondering which car would be a better choice. If both models were 2005.

I know I am in the crossfire forums, and my answer will be baised, but out of all honestly, which car is better and why?

Price=same

Thanks in advance.

If miles and condition and price are the same I'd have to favor the BMW Z4. Although I like the crossfire better I'm taking about resell value which is stronger for BMW.

To be honest I'd skip both and go find a Crossfire SRT.

For first car insurance would also be pretty expensive.

It's all about condition and I believe you will find a much better crossfire than BMW for price. I'd skip both these cars because if they are the same price they are probably higher miles. Go find the best condition crossfire you can find and afford. Supply more information and I'm sure you'll get helpful feedback (miles , six speed, engine model of Z4).

Okay well here it is

it will be a 2005 Crossfire limited roadster, with 23k miles. Its in great condition.

Price:18k

THe z4 is 2006 with navigation and sport package, also a roadster. it has about 25k miles.
Price:19k.

Which would you take?

Wow.. It seems like resale sucks on both cars.

The 05 Crossfire...Here's why, you can transfer the warrenty over for about $50 bucks and the Crossfire will have a 7/70k powertrain warrenty...I don't know about the BMW but I would check into it.

Buy the one you like, as you will be the one driving it. The Z4 is probably more of a status symbol for a young driver than a Crossfire. Tough decision for a young person so go with your heart and never look back.

Whick one do you like better? That is the bottom line!

Which one looks like the paint is in better shape?

The BMW probably has a bit more power then the XF limited.

The XF probably gets better mpg.

Well, thats the thing. I love the looks of the XF, but I also love the looks of the z4.

They both have 215 horses, and they both are cosmetically perfect.

They both get very similar mpg's +/-1

Both great cars, but assuming same condition, I would have to go with the Z4.

Based on emdunds, KBB, etc, the BMW is priced 5 grand too low and the corssfire ~1 grand too high.

I love my crossfire, but if I could have bought a brand new Z4 for under 30, don't know if I could have resisted.

Alright...The last comment I posted was via my iphone, just like this one..

I just left the bmw dealship...I testdrove the 2006 z4, and the 2005 xf...

This is my intitial thought...

The xf looks like its an adult car..Clearly not a 16 year old person's car..it looks very stunning, and drivers very smoothly. The interior looks very cheaply made, and poorly constructed....

The top takes a while to come down, but I am patient..

The z4 looks like a teen's car...Its not as sexy as the xf, but its good enough. The interior is very very very good. Its very high quality. The top comes down very easily, and is fully automatic..It has a ton of features including the sport button...

Overall, I am going to go with the z4, just becuase I would be getting alot more for only 1k...

Thanks to everyone! I would like to hear your oppinions..

P.S. Dont ask how I typed all this...It toooooook forever!

For those prices, the Z4 is the better value. It all comes down to which one you like. I test drove an '04 Z3 and a '06 Z4 before getting my SRT-6, and both were nice cars. I'm not a fan of the Z4 look over the Crossfire's, just personal preference, but I can see why you chose it. Congrats on the fine new ride!
