Default Warranty qusetion

I bought a used 05 convertible about 2 months ago and have conflicting info on the warranty. I bought the car from a small used car lot here in the LA area. The dealer only had the car for one day on the 'autotrader', when I stumbled across it. I had been searching for awhie. Car has less than 15000 miles, ( I won't tell you the price....you may cry, but I could not pass this deal up...it was good!) Car was purchased by the original owner,(ex Chrysler exec), in June 2005, so did my warranty expire in June 2008, or do you think I have the longer warrany? Gotta go...wife's calling, I have to go watch "Bridezillas" with her. Don't ask!! LOL Thanks!

If your info is correct the 3yr/36 has expired.
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to transfer the 7/70 powertrain warranty. The Chrysler dealer will charge $100 or $150(don't remember) to transfer it to you.

About a dollar a mile. Car had 14458 miles, I paid 15540 OTD. Car was/is in perfect shape, I wanted to offer the dealer a lower amount, but couldn't justify it, the price was already lower than I could have imagined. The rims did have "curb rash", but I knew I would be replacing the wheels/tires for something nicer. When I was signing the paperwork, two other "potential" buyers showed up and were a little perturbed at the salesman because he told them the car was not sold when they called to inquire about the car, which it wasn't, I was still tryng to decide, and by the time these other two individuals got to the lot, I was already signing the check. Only thing that I was worried about is that I am 6'3" and 260lbs, and it was a tight fit in the drivers seat, but for the price I couldn't pass it up and I only drive it on weekends with the wife. I was at the lot for 3 hours, had the car on a lift, called a friend who is an autobody guy, (20 some years as a body guy), and he couldn't find any evidence of prior body or frame work. So I bought it. I just changed the oil, added the new for 2008 TSW Snetterton's, 19x9.5 et20 and 18x8 et32 ( hypersilver), with factory sized Hankook K110's, also new for 2008, and a MagnaFlow system with stock tips. Car cover next, and I don't know what I want to do next....still researching ideas. I have to probably contact Chrysler to see if I can transfer the warranty and what I would need to get this done.
