Default Center Brake Light

Took my SRT-6 Roadster in for Pa State Inspection and the 3rd brake light was dim. They had to replacve the whole light unit. Anyone have this issue and what may have caused it? Thanks

Is this not an LED lamp ? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never heard of an LED going dim unless it's not receiving the proper voltage.

Stogey, I was going to reply with the same thing! I would want to see both hooked up to a 12VDC source to compare before I had to pay for it.

And how did the examiners decide it was "dim"? What did they compare it to? Another Crossfire in line? A Subaru? A Cadillac?
