I was wondering if any one could give me any tricks on programing my garage door opener.
I have a 06 roadster and have tried several times to program the garage door opener following the steps in the manual without any luck I have tried changing batteries in the remote.
I have a Geenie garage door opener about 8-10 years old.Any information would be greatly appreciated Dave

 

Go to the homelink website for a complete how to by manufacturer. I have a Genie as well and got my instructions there. It was just a little different, but worked like a charm. Good luck.

 

Thank you for the information can you tell me what the web site address is and do I need any special information like vin number off the car or serial number off the garage door opener.

All you need is your garage door opener model.

 

I have a ten year old Genie system with rolling codes. I followed the procedure in the owers manual and it works like a champ, awesome.

I wonder if I can use one of the two remaining buttons to operate my X10 remote lights ?
