And the list goes on...
On top of both bottom seat heaters goin' bust, I moved the baby outside to work on the boy's Town Car and when I walked back in the garage, I discover a 3" puddle of light purple oil-like fluid where she was sitting.
Tranny fluid? since MB won't let me look at it, I can only guess.
Verdict from those that know?

Taste it. If it tastes like dish detergent, ATF. Taste like a tarnished copper penny that spent 10 years on asphault, oil. If it tastes like dirty socks, or gym shorts, coolant. Maybe it tastes like ammonia, dog pee.
But if you don't think it's a smart idea to get down on all fours and start liking an unknown puddle, I'd guess ATF.

Probably the transmission plug my went out on my limited roadster around 28,000 miles contrary to most of you I have an great local Chrysler dealer he advised Chrysler put out an improved plug and seals to correct the problem I also have a SRT roadster with about 6600 miles and only about another 3 months on the 36 month warranty and they offered to check and see if it had the new plug or not if not they would go ahead and replace it even though it isn't leaking right now good luck check the parts dept and see if they know the difference
Just happened on my SRT roadster last week. It was the electrical connection to the trany just like what happered on both Magnums I have owned. Magnums under waranty, roadster cost $97.
no, not a tranny fix, not a fog lt fix, not a bad seal for my top...and list goes on...just hate to take to the dealer...but I quess I had better head there before winter sets in...
Hey Doc, it was the tranny leak that the tsb is for on my 05 roadster with 40k. I had the same problem on both Magnums I have owned but it occured with less that 5k on both of them. 24K on the coupe with no issues knock on wood.
And finally, after 2 weeks wait I got her to the dealer for:
Transmission Leak
All 4 seat heaters
Ignition Switch sticky/hard to turn
Center Console lights too dim (we'll see what they do about that!)
Cigarette Lighter won't heat
I gave them a copy of the .pdf's folks here on the forum provided for the tranny and seat heaters.
Thanks to all.
PT Cruiser as a loaner.
Weird!

I got my car back yesterday due to the leaky plug also and only have 9600 miles on the car! I hope this isn't a recurring problem once my warranty is up next year.

that means those of us who don't drive them often will have something to worry about way down the road...got to talk to service mgr...I may have start stocking up on spare parts...good luck Max...I know your bottom gets cold down there...you should be here...my Jeep has seat heaters and will use them...

It's a Magnaflow 16633 Catback. Still available for ~$350 plus shipping.
Do a search on it.
