Talking New 4 post lift

Purchased a 4 post lift to get all the toys in the garage. It turned out great. Bought it from Greg Smith in Indianapolis.

I put the Corvette on top so the Crossfire wouldn't drip oil on the Corvette. Just messing with you. My wife mainly drives the Crossfire and she finds it difficult to drive on the ramps.

Very cool! We've thought about doing the same thing to double stack the xfires. Was it hard to install?

It took awhile to assemble but was easy. Raising the garage door tracks and installing the new door opener took longer than I thought it would have.

Love the Avalanche! It was either a new LTZ Avalanche or keep the Avalanche as a winter driver and get a Corvette for a few more thousands. The Avalanches have sure gone up since I purchased mine.

Ya- Love mine too, 2007 LT3 w/Z71 pack. The only thing I dont have
is all the video & nav. A vette @ the tine was not that much more.
I got it in '06 just as it came out. I had the only silver one in 400 miles.
The vette is comming! Do you like the new ZR1?

Watch the auctions - there are a lot of lifts for sale with dealer/shop closings.

I really do not like the window in the hood. I think it degrades the car.

I can not imagine what 600+ hp feels like. Mine has 436 and it is a hand full. A really great engineered car. And it gets around 28 MPG at 70 MPH on the highway!

How high is your garage... I may need to look into this.

Yes, I have changed oil in the Corvette already. The Crossfire is next!

Lift comes with a Jack bridge, which should come in handy to take the wheels off for detailing this winter.

The ceiling is 10' 6" in my garage. I needed about 6 more inches so I could get the Avalanche or Suburban under the Corvette. The Crossfire is about 5 inches taller than the vette so I would need another 6 inches if I wanted to put it on top with the Avalanche on the bottom.

I bought the taller lift so the Avalanche or Suburban would fit under if I wanted to.

At least the 2 fun cars stack.

The previous owner of my car has a lift in his garage. Problem is his garage is only 8' high. He could only lift the car up a few feet off of the ground. Still allowed him to get underneath to clean and do maintenance. I guess that's better than not getting under the car at all.
My car still has a ding on the top from hitting his garage door when he lifted the car for the first time.

For me the main benefit was the ability to stack the 2 cars for storage. Getting under the car to do maintenance is a bonus.
