It's my toy, and you can't play with it, unless you come to the track, and love to play then...I've put about 8K on it in 3 yrs...so that isn't too bad...but it will remain a toy, and live in the garage....
I know when I'm ready to sell this one there will be another low mileage garage queen for sale somewhere waiting for me to come along and buy it.
Not to worried about the miles I put on this one.

well, there you go, if it weren't for us garage queens, you will not have future low mileage XF to buy...we are just saving them for future generations to enjoy...public service for everyone...LOL

I plan on keeping this sucker until the interior is ripped out, a roll cage is installed, the track is widened, the engine dry sumped, bottom-end rebuilt, piggybacked, turbo'd, and widebodied.

One of the joys of owning a rear wheel drive sports coupe - when you're done keeping it 'pristine', you can turn it into a total beast.

One of these days, my garage queen is going to get dirty

I just think it grand that our cars are so enjoyable be they driven daily, or pampered in a garage. Not many cars I can afford which allow this dual enjoyment.

So with the cessation of production, did it then put our XF on the path to being a modern classic (in another 18 years)?
