Two times now, as soon as I start my roadster, the spoiler goes up and stays up until I put it down with the button. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think you are the second one to post this problem....I don't know if an answer ever came about, but I'll search and see.

It was the battery taking a dump... he replaced the battery and everything is fine.

That is true... when my battery went dead it started acting all wierd. The spoiler went up and the car started locking and unlocking itself. The car starts acting wierd when the battery is low!

The battery sounds to be the problem as stated above, if that fails a couple of #10 self-tapping screws (stainless steel) will do the trick.

I'm having the same problem, at the moment I don't have regular insurance coverage (only winter storage coverage) so I haven't been able to try getting up to highway speed to see if it will reset.

Have you tried anything similar? Get up to highway speed when the spoiler is supposed to pop up, and see if it goes back to normal afterward?

I start the car weekly, but the spoiler pops up every time...and yes, the battery has died recently...darn trunk latch.

Any time your battery voltage or CURRENT starts getting low you are likely to get strange electrical issues. I have had this with other cars too.... Check your battery for age and if nothing else, get it load tested. I put a new battery in the Aero a couple of months ago.
