Default what car is this?

okay guys, please put aside the tendency of your species to stick together..I need to know what car this is - my ex owes me 40 grand and this is his profile picture from a dating site.

I know car prices have dropped in the states but I may hunt him down in Arizona if this is what I think it is.

thanks for your help

BMW Z4 Roadster I believe.

Glad you are not after me... Oh wait I haven't been married for seventeen years! LOL

Good luck and stay safe...

Maybe he is playing the bait and switch game, he gets a date and shows up in his real car. What's your guess for the car as you know him best?

ok, ok, you guys are having a chuckle. Yes, when a friend sent me the pic I labelled it based on my feelings. If you have to post a pic of your car to lure the "chickies", OMG, good luck to him.

It does not look like a Z4 - close but not quite. I thought an X3 was the Beemer SUV.

This guy is hiding out in Arizona - his ex wife is chasing him for child support. I was with him for a few years and when I sold my house, she claimed a huge chunk of the equity from the sale. Now who is the idiot...

Apparently Ontario has no reciprocity agreement with Arizona.

That car is absolutely, unequivocally, without a doubt, guaranteed - a BMW Z4 Roadster. And the poster who made the x3 comment was not referring to the BMW X3 mini SUV but rather the fact that he was the third person to respond and was agreeing with the two before him. x3 as in times3 or me 3 (me too +1 sort of thing).

Good luck to you on this as well. I hate when one jerk makes the rest of us guys look bad.

MCathie,

X3 is a 4 door compact SUV, definitely a Z4 BMW. I like what you named your thumbnail image. Good luck.

Looks a little different than a regular Z4 because it is the higher performance 330 HP Z4M roadster. Much like the SRT.

My apologies, I was looking at the pic Sportsbimmer posted, which is indeed a Z4M. I worked at a BMW dealer for 3 years and have owned a few myself. I am an XF lover, but still a bimmer guy at the core.

I feel sorry for the sob...hell hath no fury....

But be careful down there in AZ. It's one of those whacky states that allows you to pack firearms. Kind of surprised me when I went to a Tucson bar the first time and they had a check for guns and knives at the door.

I have no intention of "visiting" him. Life goes on... peacefully I hope. And no, I do not judge all men by his cowardly actions.

I do however have a very good friend who is a criminal lawyer. She will be vacationing near him (Scottsdale) and has offerd to paint a giant purple, "Love, Cathie" on the side of his car. She says she could avoid charges if she is caught. We had a good laugh over it but it is not a serious plan!

I thought that's what you were referring to after I posted my smarta$$ comment! I really like bimmers too, but just recently, I test drove a new 335i with my wife and neither one of us liked it! I was shocked that I didn't like it. We then drove a new G37 Sedan 6MT and absolutely fell in love with it! The only reason I didn't buy it was because I decided to get another beater DD truck (every family needs a pick-up truck) and not to sell the SRT6.

Ok, back on topic...

I was born and raised in North Phoenix/Glendale, AZ! It is still the Wild West out there!

I suggest a little hint with your friend's business card and a note left on his car might be a good start.
