I actually have a total of six 2005 Roadster (your's being the first) and two 2005 SRT Coupe that were built at the same time that 2004's coupe were rolling down the line (February 2004). Think of it as "Early Production 2005's" saleable units.
Also worth mentioning, according to Karmann data 13 Roadsters were built in 2003. Those were most likely Pre-Production non-saleable test units. None of those have surfaced so far.

I think that is why it would be very beneficial for everyone in the community to post their car info in this thread:

Only by using the build date for the three serial numbers could you say that the serial numbers were manufactured out of sequence.
Why have serial numbers if they are not in series?
I meant built out of year sequence - mine was built in serial # sequence but built Feb 18,2004 as a 2005 when the 04 coupes were still being produced.

Were all these cars built in BELGIUM? The one I'm looking at was
Vehicle exported from
Belgium
and imported to
Baltimore, MD
Is this the normal beginning for a US Crossfire?

They were built in Germany and shipped out from Europe via Ostend. The EEC does not recognise its members borders as such, only the community as a whole entity.
