Heated seats
I just purchased a 2005 Crossfire roadster with 25,000 miles. I love the car already but the driver,s heated seat does not heat but the light goes on. The passenger seat heats great. Any suggestions?

These car's heated seats are prone to failure. In general, it is a burned connector. But sometimes not.
If it's under warranty, a trip to the dealer is indicated. If it was bought from a used car lot-talk to them. It should have been listed on the disclosure statement.

hopefully you are still under warranty this is a common problem with the crossfires my limited had to have both seats (backs and cushions) replaced around 37,000 mi fortunately had the extended coverage and were replaced at no charge my SRT had to have the cushions replaced around 8000 mi
again with warranty and replaced at no charge contrary to most I have a great Chrysler dealer and while there is a "fix-it" kit available he checked around and found they were not always reliable so he repaired with brand new seats if out of warranty they are real pricy and you might want to try
the fix-it kit or if that didn't work and I didn't have the warranty I would just live with heater and forget the warm seats

Well, I ended up at the dealer who has taken 2 days to replace the heating element in my driver's seat. The charge was $413. Sometimes on a cooler evening with the top down the heated seats are nice.

Mine went out about a year and a half ago.
I never had 'em fixed, since they are just going to go out again, I figured it wasn't worth some hack mechanic tearing apart half my interior for.
