What an idiot. These are great cars if treated right -- it's a fine machine that needs TLC and maintenance, and it will return the affection. That's why I bought THREE of them. The roadster and 2007 have had zero problems and the SRT6 needed the infamous s/c intercooler replaced -- and I learned all about it on this forum. There may be more reliable cars out there, but there aren't many as fine looking and fun to drive.

 

If you don't like the car just sell the damn thing it want be hard. Then shut your @#$%!@# mouth

 

I love it!! This thread started off a load of manurer and has become fun to follow so I guess I should say thanks to the "schmuck".

I know, I said I should and I should but I just can't. LOL

 

I leased a coupe in 04, put 42K miles on it up to 4/09...then gave it back to Chrysler (wanted too much residual). Never had a problem with it...same tires, same battery, same everything.

Then, bought an 05 roadster with 8Kmiles 2 weeks ago. It is as perfect as the one I gave back (less miles of course). It is a fine piece of engineering! Am looking forward to 4-5 years more pleasure.

I'm keeping my Roadster and I've certainly had much bigger issues then that guy's minor complaints. But then, I don't buy a car unless it speaks to my soul. And once it's done that, I'll (apparently, lol) give it plenty of chances to redeem itself. Which my lil car is now in process of doing (yay).

i hate it when that happens, doesnt this guy know any better, that was the best 20k anyone could of spent on a car with no future whats so ever. im still enjoying my soft top roadster that i bought for 30k last year. i cant wait to install that bolt on turbo kit and show all those 2 seater sports cars who's boss.

LOL, a good advertisement for thinking/researching before you speak.

I had a 2007 350Z-drove it off the lot-directly before getting this car. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but the crossfire is nicer. And your points are mute.
1)Nissan paint is HORRIBLE!! The paint has flaws from the factory. ie bumps, orange peel, and various other abnormalities. And the clear coat "ain't worth a damn!" The paint chips on every encounter with a solid object.
2)Nissan vehicles develop CRAZY annoying squeaks, and they develop within the first few months.
Go on any Nissan forum and you will find these are EXPECTED from their vehicles! My wifes 2008 Rogue has squeaks, chipped paint, and the check engine light has come on multiple times, and we haven't even had it a year. BTW, I am meticulous at maintaining our vehicles, so don't try that lame excuse.

On the other side, I still like the Rogue (25mpg in an SUV in town), and the new 370Z is AWESOME! EVERY car has its flaws, especially performance vehicles. Deal with it, or just get a Camry.

P.S. I know that this is a wasted rant, since the OP never returns to solidify his inane comments, but I felt like voicing my experience.
