On a side note, you are not likely to find anyone or any method to turbo one of these cars. If you do, you will be the first to succeed.

we have plenty of knowledge to share but boi you need to change your attitude the caps do not bother me but disrespecting a member of the forum who is older than you and been on the board longer than you.

this is your best bet if you are serious call

TVT designs (ask about the 3.8l short block that should do around 400hp with low compression for boost)
LET tuning ( tuning see if they can mod stock ecu the way kanzus did)
EuroCharged (another mod shop)
inmotion (tuning)

do some research you will not be spoonfed and learn to respect and we will help you out.

Please find a summary below of what I've done on the V6 engine:

- unmount manifold, cut the mount of air pump
- change injectors from 171cc to 420cc (very important)
- mount V6 Kompressor with new gaskets (obstruct pressure sensor and air temperature sensor) and kept AMF air mass flow sensor
- mount water cooler and water pump for supercharger intercooler
- keep original ECU but change fuel MAP inside to get correct air/fuel ratio (around 11:1) cause injectors aren't same and air intake is greater, first i had a smoke because the mixture was too rich.
- Supercharger clutch and water pump are plugged to direct 12 DC after ignition on, because i didn't find ME2.8 ecu file dump of c32 amg komp neither from crossfire srt-6.
- mount new belt same as c32 k, and cut two teeth from it, because it's 8 teeth belt, and pulleys on my engine are just 6.

To change ECU fuel map, I used ECM2001 software, desolder the AMD 29F400BB 44pin microcontroller, remap it using GALEP5 microchip programmer and re-solder it into the ECU.

Wating for tomorrow morning like baby waits for his gifts
Tomorrow i'll have my wiring harness and continue the story ..

Keep In touch
Karim H.

Hello Boys and Girls,

Just for information, as I upgrade my engine with AMG Kompressor (V8 supercharger), I ordered an brand new engine wiring harness (suits 113.991 engine 55 K) whitch will be available at MB dealer on tuesday morning, so my project is going to be little late from my initial planning and schedule. I also ordered pulley, belt and what needed for supercharger intercooler (water pump ...). GRR I have also to reflash ECU with V8 55 AMG Kompressor bin file.

I beleive my project is a little optimistic as said, but I made an upgrade before this, I boosted my V6 2.6 original engine with intercooled V6 AMG supercharger taken from c32 AMG Kompressor (same as SRT-6), with upgrading ECU and So on .. I have obtained around 290 HP (177HP, 125Kw origin).

You can believe my goal is 500HP from this 5.5 V8 engine, so my CLK W209 will be the powerfull one (before DTM version of course ).

ps:
Lantana: do you finish mounting all mechanical parts, if yes, do you confirm only what you need is starting engine with some modification of electronic staff??

Keep you posted.
Karim.

Kid....you're just not gettin it are you ???

For the money you'll spend attempting to put a turbo or supercharger on your car, you could almost buy two SRT-6's. I only know of one turbo kitted XFire and that was a remote mount. One member Chuck Norris just completed an Eaton Supercharger install and now looking to turbo the same car. It's not that it can't be done, you got the money, someone will darn sure have the time. But just be ready to pony up some big bucks ! Meanwhile try to play nice !

Do us a favor and turn off the caps. You don't do this at work do you? You said you like to type this way, but have you found anyone wanting to read this way? You will become the office joke if you send all caps in your emals. Just makes you look like a *****.

The main reason I joined this forum is because I wanted information and help from members who are older and wiser than I am. Whether it be that they are older than me, or have just had their XF's longer than me, or just know more about cars in general than me. I respect everyone's input, and so should you.

The "SEARCH" feature is a Godsend. You really should try it.

Have some respect for those who obviously know a heck of a lot more than you. I'm going to tell you now, there are a lot of people on here that throw sarcasm and joke around. If you can't handle it, you don't belong on here. [[Come on MRPHOTOMAN, where are you?]]

This guy reminds me of a few other teenagers who tried to mouth off on here, thinking they know everything. They got the boot pretty quick.

You get what you give. In "baby" terms, that means you won't get any respect if you don't give any respect.

I promise you....listen to what these "elders" have to say. To me, 40-50 years old isn't exactly considered "elderly" but I'll let you guys decide on that one! I've been on this site for less than two months, and I'm a female just about to turn 23. I've learned a TON of crap from these men and women. So, cool it Timberlake!

And next time, re-read your post before you submit...and chill out on the lime green.

[BOWTOTHEFIRE] - "AND UR RIGHT I DONT REPECT ELDERS THAT DONT REPECT ME"

That's your first problem. You should RESPECT, not REPECT.

Maybe someone should email this thread to one of the contacts at UNIVAR, they might put it in the email of the right people. Miami looks about right.

HAH!

Maybe you should tell your mom/owner that she needs to train your receptionist better over at Univar.

Since there's NO such position as "Export Coordinator" or "Senior Export Coordinator." Then the receptionist transferred me to someone else who kept repeating it, all confused. "Senior Export Coordinator? Do you have a name?"

Ouch.

We can just call you at work! If we find any helpful information for you about a turbo? If your phone number is on this site http://www.univarusa.com/quick_facts.htm http://www.univarcanada.com/distribution.htm

Hey HEY! Cut the dude some slack. He's everything he says he is.

"SENIOR EXPORT COORDINATOR" = Overseas FedEx Envelope Label Typer.

Give 'em a break! Doesn't everyone know that SENIOR EXPORT COORDINATORS have to type ALL FedEx labels in all caps with neon green font?

Sheesh! Tough Crowd!
